Zero Break-In Time

Most customers find our orthotics comfortable with no break-in period. Some may experience minor discomfort as their feet adjust to the new custom orthotics.

Give Your Foot the Full Support it Needs.

Many custom orthotic providers only treat 3/4 of your foot. The orthotic will appear full length, but the customization ends where the forefoot begins. Therefore, a significant portion of your foot is not getting the treatment and support that it needs.

At Texas Foot Orthotics, our custom orthotics are engineered to treat and support the entirety of your feet for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place an order?

Placing an order is simple! Just choose your orthotic color and sizing information, add it to your cart, and complete checkout. Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive your detailed assessment in your order confirmation email. Please complete the assessment, and we’ll send you our foam impression kit with clear step-by-step instructions. After you send your impressions back to us, our in-house lab will custom craft your orthotics.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We proudly offer free shipping on all orders within the continental United States; no minimum purchase is required. That includes sending you the foam impression kit, returning it to our lab, and delivering your finished orthotics.

What is your return or exchange policy?

We want you to be completely in love with your custom orthotics. That’s why we offer a 180-day comfort guarantee. From the day you receive your orthotics, you have up to 180 days to decide if they’re the perfect fit for you. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll work with you to adjust, remake, or replace them at no additional cost. If you still don’t love them after adjustments, we’ll provide a full refund.

How long will it take to get my order?

Once we receive your completed foam impressions, we typically take 3-5 business days to create and fabricate your custom orthotics. Shipping time varies by location but usually adds an additional 3 business days. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way with tracking information.

How do I send in my foam impression kit?

Your kit includes a prepaid return shipping label. Simply follow the included instructions to create your foot impressions, place the impression box inside the prepaid return envelope, and drop it in your mailbox or at the appropriate carrier location.

Is Texas Foot Orthotics’ technology proven to capture an optimal foot impression and fabricate orthotics that last?

Yes. Our technology has been tried, tested, and trusted for over 48 years when it comes to capturing precise foot impressions and manufacturing durable, medical-grade orthotics. Foam impression kits are the standard method used by both orthotic labs and podiatrists to capture the unique contours and weight-bearing details of your feet.

Unlike app-based scans that skip the physical impression step or newer 3D-printed orthotics with limited long-term durability data, our system ensures a true, full-foot mold and combines it with time-tested fabrication methods for maximum comfort, accuracy, and long-term durability.

Can I use FSA/HSA to pay for my custom orthotics?

While we do not bill insurance directly, we accept HSA/FSA cards at checkout. Approval is determined by your card issuer or plan administrator. If your HSA/FSA card is declined, you may use another payment method, and we can provide an itemized receipt if you need documentation for reimbursement.

How long do Texas Foot Orthotics last?

Depending on your activity level and foot structure, our custom orthotics typically last 3-7 years, with some lasting 10-15 years. We recommend checking them yearly to ensure they’re still providing optimal support.

What type of shoes will my orthotics fit in? And which shoes are best?

Your custom orthotics will fit in most casual shoes, including sneakers, boots, and loafers. For best results, choose lace-up shoes with removable insoles, a firm heel, and enough depth to hold the orthotic securely.

They can also work in some dress shoes, but space is tighter. Slip-ons, thin flats, and sandals generally aren’t a good match because they lack structure and support.

Do I need a referral or prescription to get custom orthotics?

No. You do not need a referral to order from us. Our doctor is licensed to write custom orthotic prescriptions for our patients, so you can get medical-grade orthotics directly, without extra appointments or paperwork.

Where are your orthotics made?

Proudly right here in the USA! Every pair is handcrafted in our own in-house Texas lab, supporting local jobs and ensuring the highest quality standards from start to finish.

Are my orthotics really custom?

Absolutely. Every pair of our orthotics is made just for you, with no pre-made templates or generic inserts. We start by capturing an exact 3D mold of your feet using our foam impression kit. From there, Dr. Saldino designs and fabricates your orthotics to match your unique foot shape, gait, and support needs.

Unlike many brands that only focus on the arch area, we make precise adjustments to the entire foot, from heel to toe. This ensures optimal alignment, balanced pressure distribution, and maximum comfort whether you’re standing, walking, or running.

The result is a truly custom orthotic built to support your feet, your way.

Do you do adjustments or modifications? What if my orthotics don’t fit?

If your orthotics need an adjustment or modification, just contact us anytime during your 180-day guarantee period. We'll review the fit or comfort issue and make any necessary adjustments at no additional cost. If something doesn't feel right, we encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later so we can help you get comfortable as quickly as possible.

How long will it take to feel relief?

The majority of our custom orthotics are designed for immediate comfort. However, if you experience initial discomfort, we recommend consistent daily wear to allow your feet adequate time to adapt.

How do I clean my custom orthotics?

No special cleaning is required! If needed, simply wipe them down with a damp towel. Our orthotics don’t absorb odor, sweat, or moisture, but avoid heat, as the glue used in manufacturing can be affected.

I have a pair of custom orthotics from my doctor, will these be as good?

Absolutely. Your orthotics will be designed and crafted by a licensed podiatrist and orthotist, using the same medical-grade materials and fabrication standards found in clinical settings.

In many cases, our process goes a step further, because we work directly from your foot impressions and make precise adjustments from heel to toe. Your orthotics will provide the same level of support as those from your doctor and often even better.

You’ll receive professional, medical-grade orthotics tailored to your exact needs, without the clinic markup or extra appointments.
